Scientists Speak

The popular Scientists Speak program is back again with a host of presentations covering the latest in food science and safety. Held annually on Sunday at the IARW-WFLO Annual Convention & Expo, this afternoon program features leading food scientists and logistics experts from around the world presenting their latest research.

All presenters are members of the prestigious WFLO Scientific Advisory Council (SAC), which is dedicated to providing education and research to IARW-WFLO members year-round. SAC Chairman Dr. Daryl Lund (University of Wisconsin), SAC Members serve as professors and researchers at some of the world's leading academic institutions. From food process engineering to operations management, each SAC Member specializes in a critical food science and logistics area. Learn more.

Construction/Codes Committee Meeting

Throughout the year, members the IACSC-IARW Construction/Codes Committee have been researching and analyzing critical issues in cold storage construction. Join the committee for this special meeting where committee members will be discussing construction considerations for automated facilities, modified atmosphere prevention systems, insulation requirements, the LEED green building certification system, and roof vapor barrier details.

International Roundtable

Latin American Committee Meeting

All members from Latin America are invited to attend this committee meeting to discuss the Latin American cold chain market. GCCA Latin American Director Debbie Corado will lead an interactive discussion on market trends, pressing concerns, and new opportunities.
